 I've already talked about it here on the blog. 
But for those who haven't heard, the cult brand d.i.a. spec is back.

 Back in 2010 when I was a little baby-gal the 
brand d.i.a. were so popular. Every gyaru had a big buckle belt 
with gold chains and the sparkling letters D. I. A.

 

 I remember my struggle to get my hands on a original. 
Since ordering from japan was - absolutly not easy. 
There was no translation, the websits were old and only in
 japanese and even Rakuten was a adventure to order from. 
Privat shopping servisces were the only way to shop from japanese sites. 
And you couldn't just google "private Japanese shopping service" 
and get the address from a nice person...
I was lucky enough to meet Lily 
(a Gyaru friend back in the day) 
She knew a reputable shopping service lady. 
And thanks to her, I got my very first (and only) 
original d.i.a. belt. 
I'm not 100% sure about the price, 
but I think I paid around 40-50€ for a used one. 
And I still have this treasure.

By now, prices had risen dramatically. 
Some gals were demanding €300 - 400 for a 10 - 15 years 
old belt—it was getting more and more ridiculous.

d.i.a. was the full embodiment of: 
"Get Wild And Be Sexy".

Leopard and zebra prints. 
Skulls, US flags, gold chains, 
Western style, short skirts, fur leg warmers... 
Everyone knew immediately: This is d.i.a.

The brand has managed to leave its own signature on outfits.

 

I think it was 2014/15 (about 10 years ago) 
when d.i.a. reached its peak in the gaijin gyaru scene.
Kuro gyaru somewhat replaced the dolly, Himekaji era.

 I think it was around 2020 when the brand announced 
that d.i.a. would be closing their doors. 
From that point on, there were no more stores.

And now that gyaru is finally making a comeback, 
the d.i.a. brand has also made an incredible comeback.

The timing couldn't have been better.

But can the brand return to its former strength?

 Started strong, faded sharply?

 A real outcry went through the community when the first postings 
were published on Instagram by an account called @d.i.a.official_

 

 The "shopping bag" was recognized 
and stories were shared with: "coming soon - summer '25"

 My insta was full of gyarus who couldn't believe it in their stories. 
And most importantly, the belts were coming back.

 On April 30, 2025, the brand announced with a 
clear post that the grand reopening of the d.i.a. brand 
would take place on Wednesday, June 4.
The best part is, international shopping 
will also be possible thanks to ZOZOTOWN & Buyee.

The first campaign was very strong.
They used three "egg models" for the promotion, 
which revived the brand's old charm. 

 

It looked promising.

But somehow, when I look at the online shop: ZOZOTOWN, 
I get the feeling that they've been pushed back into the mainstream. 
"Not too loud," "not too sexy" - it has to be wearable for the masses.

Btw this is just my speculation.

 Don't get me wrong, there are definitely pieces 
in the new collection that definitely tie in with the old design.

But for my taste, it also seems a bit slowed down.

Do you think d.i.a. is playing it safe?

Or is it simply the "new fashion" that's influencing the brand?

ROMWE June 🛍️

 Hello peeps! ( ´ ꒳ ` ) ♡

 That escalated quickly... 

 I added things to my shopping cart throughout the month. 
And when some of them finally went on sale, I placed a large order.
The main reason I ordered them was shorts and jeans.
Hope one of these fits me.

 I don't know how smart it is to order so many summer clothes, since summer here in Germany usually lasts a maximum of four to six weeks before we slide back into fall.

But my current Agejo boom is strong.
And I want to take the opportunity to buy a few more items before 
extreme-fast-fashion decides that something completely different is in fashion again.

I also ordered a few more accessories this time. 
Like an absolute Gyaru must-have – the foxtail.
I still have a reddish-brown one somewhere at my parents' house. 
But I decided I needed a gray one.
I was also so impressed with the last press-on nails that I ordered three more pairs. 
In different designs, of course. I hope they look just as good as my last ones.

 And of course I need my absolute favorite fake lashes again.
(You should always have some in stock ⸜(*ˊᗜˋ*)⸝)

 A total of 17 items ended up in this order...
including two of the same lashes – because I was supposed to order some for a friend. And one free item.

 As I said, I bought myself a fox tail. I hope it's pretty... (and not real)

 Rin and Yumachi as a prime example of the foxtail trend.

 I think we don't need to discuss the fact that long decorated nails are a part of the gyaru scene.
However, a "short pair" sneaked in here. I thought the decoration was just to sweet.

At the beginning of my gyaru years, 
I had already worn fake glasses. However, they were at my parents' house,
 so now I had to get some new ones.

Unfortunately I haven't found any exact examples, but I think you get the vibe. 

These pants have been on my wish list since April, or even earlier.

 I have to admit, I like the Ma*rs fake version better than the original.
 I think the flared trousers suit me a little better, too. But we'll see when they arrive.

The pieces actually ended up in my shopping cart because of Yumachi.
I remember flipping through an "egg" magazine in which she wore similar pieces.
Of course, I can't find them right now (；￣Д￣)

 zebra and leo will alway be a thing - right? 

And last but not least, a basic skirt.
I'll definitely send it back if I don't 100% like it. Because skirts 
like this can certainly be bought secondhand for less.
I just realized that I'm missing a skirt like this for many outfits. 
And since I already have a package on its way, I decided to give it a try.

Quick food ~ 🍜

 On saturday my bf and me went for a quick 
snack in the City. We wanted to try 
a "Fast-Food" Ramen "Bar" - kinda. 
It was just a little bigger than a Food-truck. 
In Germany we often have "Pommesbuden"* 
infront of Hardware Stors or other bigger Stors. 
This ramen bar were infront of a little mall. 

 *"Pommesbude" is a German Word for: 
"french fry stand"
It is often a Foodtruck or a little Stand  
that sells - how guessed it - french frys, 
sausages and other fatty snacks.

It's definitely healthier than fries.

 

 Normally I always choose ramen at this point, 
but I was kinda full. I just wanted a small snack.

 So i ordered udon noodles 
with veggies and some chicken. 
It was good.
My boyfriend instead ordered miso-ramen
 ... but it was fluff ... the noodles were to soft.

 This was my quick little update from yesterday. 

Try to blog more often with smaller posts.
