There will be something else soon. But for now, let's stick with day two of my Cologne trip.

 I already told you that Honey wanted to go to a camera store. And since we were walking past a Primark, I suggested that while he was looking at the camera store, I could go shopping at Primark (since that would surely bore him).

No sooner said than done. So my boyfriend went out and I checked out Primark.

Gals... Sanrio heaven.

I didn't even manage to photograph everything that was there. 

 

I already own too many pajamas, but this Pompompurin pj is so cute. 

(´• ω •`) ♡

 

And the other sets were adorable.

 

 

In the home department there was almost exclusively Hello Kitty & Friends stuff.

 

The ceramic was incredible.

 

I just don't like dust collectors, and the ceramic parts will probably just collect dust at my home. ... 

(ᗒᗨᗕ)

 

The cup was so cute. But I don't like drinking from those shapes. It feels wrong. And if you can't use it as a cup, then it's just a dust collector like the other ceramic pieces... so the cute little fellow had to stay...

 

 I think the frog really isn't that popular with Sanrio fans - is that possible?

I was surprised that so much of Cinnamoroll was still available.

I don't know when the collaboration arrived in Germany, though.
I saw on Lizzie's blog a few months ago that the Hello Kitty colab was already available in the UK. Back then, we only had a few HK T-shirts and smaller accessories.

 

 

I'm a little annoyed that I didn't buy a water bottle. It would have been perfect, especially at the start of my new apprenticeship. But my shopping trip was already quite large. And I don't like washing bottles by hand anyway; I always put them in the dishwasher... which they don't like at all

After Primark, we went to an Italian café together. I had a bubble waffle there, which was delicious.

 We also had a quick look inside the church. Unfortunately, we couldn't spend much time there, as it closed shortly afterward.

At TKmaxx I found a really nice smelling shower gel from Hello Kitty x Skinny Dip.

 It wasn't very cheap, but I think I'll keep using the bottle afterward if the label doesn't dissolve in the shower.

 

 

Are you as fascinated by candy stores as I am? 

 

I don't usually buy anything there. But the shops always look great.

I asked my hun if he could take a photo of me in front of the candy wall. But unfortunately, that didn't work out... I think he just wanted to move on quickly.

 

Our next stop was for ramen before heading home. I'll tell you more about that in the next post.

日本 Mecces 💮 Sakura Sprite

 There are so many things I want to write about right now. But I still have a lot to tell you about my trip to Cologne.
On the second day, I left it up to my boyfriend to decide what we wanted to do. I suggested, however, that maybe we should check out the zoo after all.

But he wanted to go to a camera store. So our first stop was Saturn, which, while not exactly a camera store, still sells lenses and everything else for cameras. The staff were once again extremely friendly. 
But since we were hungry and I wanted to get my morning coffee at McCafe, we took a detour.

 I was already choosing a standard cappuccino when my boyfriend pointed out that there were some limited-edition dishes and drinks that were supposed to have a Japanese flavor.
Among them: Matcha Latte and Sakura Sprite.

 This was the current special menu
The theme is: "Around the world with Mecces."

 I was like this: w(°ｏ°)w 

 So not a standard cappuccino after all.
At least there was a pink Sprite to try!
I also wanted to try the baked pineapple pie. 

 I actually forgot to take a photo of my snack... how dare I (¯ . ¯٥)

 

In reality the sprite was much pinker instead of orange/red.

 

 

I don't really like soda drinks; I usually get a stomachache from too much carbonation 
and my throat starts to hurt...

So I only drank half of the Sprite. It was tasty, a bit unusual, but good.

 

Of course, I had to take a few obligatory photos while waiting for our fast food. I'm never sure if my honey is bothered by them ~ haha

 

It was really sweet, though. He said he liked my outfit ♥
(even though he's not into gyaru at all)

On my way out, I saw the Squishmallows surprises for 
the Happy Meal... there's a cat and a little bat! So cute (´｡• ω •｡`) ♡

But I didn't want to order a Happy Meal just for that.
You remember that I already ordered a BK meal just because of a Naruto T-shirt. xD

BK 👑 X Naruto 🍥

helloo ✩ 𝙽𝚊𝚛𝚞𝚝𝚘 ✩  peeps 

 But this is really the last part of the first day in Cologne.

 After eating ramen, we walked around town a bit and passed a Burger King.
I saw Naruto in the window.
And I was like: ヽ(°〇°)ﾉ 
and : (°ロ°) ! 

And then we ended up in BK ... Just to order a Menü for the limited edition T-Shirt.
... 
I was full from eating ramen, but I figured I could eat the burger tomorrow.

 It was so cool. The entire BK was covered from top to bottom with Naruto stuff.

 B ack in the days my sister and I had over 30 volumes of Naruto. 
And when it aired on German television on RTL II, we were completely hyped.

So you could say that nostalgia mode kicked in with this purchase.

 At first, I had no idea how to order the shirt.
You had to download the app first and then scan a code into the terminal.
It took longer than expected, and my boyfriend was getting increasingly impatient.

 My boyfriend doesn't want to be at Burger King at all. 
He couldn't understand my enthusiasm.

 Hun is annoyed by my BK X Naruto hype. 

 The fun wasn't cheap, either. ... I basically spent €20 on the shirt. Of course, I also got the fries, burger, and drink, but overall, it was just for the shirt.

  

 

 We still managed to see the cathedral in Cologne.
It was breathtaking and there was almost no scaffolding on the imposing building. 

 After we had looked at the cathedral from all sides, we went back to the hotel.

 

At the hotel, I was glad I still had an ice tea from the menu, 
because the ramen has made me extremely thirsty.

 We then watched a horror film, but I was so tired that I only caught half of it.
