After the Botanical Garden, we checked into our hotel and took a long power nap.
Cologne is a truly beautiful city. Everyone we met was very friendly, and even though it's such a big city, the streets were really clean. We were both impressed.
I also saw a Claire's store, but since we were tired, we didn't want to go shopping that day.
I had also planned to visit Cologne Cathedral—even if only from the outside.
After two hours of sleep we decided to eat ramen for dinner.
Since neither of us knew Cologne at all, I simply googled ramen and looked for a restaurant with good reviews.
This led us to a restaurant called Coco Ramen.
Of course, I had to take a "hair smile" photo. My boyfriend said the pose was totally cringe...
He's right in some ways. But we'll just ignore it and have fun anyway ~ haha (^_-)≡☆
From one cringy pose to another
While we were waiting for the food, I goofed around with the flowers.
I thought they were very beautiful.
Hun just said: we can't take them with us.
(as a joke oc - I never would stole decoration from a restaurant)
The waiter came with our food and I still had the flowers in my hand,
it was a funny moment.
I ordered the soy-based chicken ramen with teriyaki sauce. It was by far the best ramen I've had in the last six months.
My friend had original Tonkotsu ramen.
The portions were very large and the food was simply excellent.
That day, I just wanted to celebrate the moment and toast to our (probably last for a while) trip.
So I treated myself to a Hugo Lime. It was refreshing.
It's totally interesting for me who's mostly at home reading about your trip. This ramen bowl made me so hungry ;-;
